Job Description

The People, Performance and Culture team ensures the effective delivery of all HR activities in the firm. We play an integral part in making KPMG a great place to work by implementing best-practice programmes to attract, recruit, develop, groom, retain the best and brightest talent and work together in branding KPMG as the Employer of Choice. We are looking for a dynamic relationship builder and collaborator as an intern HR Business Partner (HRBP). You will support the Junior & Senior HRBP to drive the HR strategies.

As an intern, you will get the opportunity, but not limited to:

  • Working with the HRBP’s to deliver excellent service by providing operational support for HR activities and helping to roll out the People Strategies.
  • Work on different parts of the employee lifecycle such as onboarding, offboarding, performance appraisal, learning & development, people communication and change management.
  • Creating the best onboarding and off boarding experiences.
  • Creating email introductions for our (new) employees.
  • Support in the development of communication such as for auditwide townhalls.
  • Suggest changes to improve and simplify our HR processes.
  • Participate in HR projects, and possibly leading your own project.

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Preference, but no requirement, for a Bachelors (or a Masters) in a business or HR related field. We welcome outstanding undergraduates (Year 1 to 2) to apply too.
  • Previous (internship) experience helpful
  • For continuity we have a preference for a full time/part time internship for a period of at least 6 months
  • Good Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive and independent approach to critical thinking. We want your opinion
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow through and respond to requests with high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism
  • Ability to accept feedback to continuously improve
  • Innovative approach and new way of thinking
  • An excellent team player that can handle multiple stakeholders
  • Avid learner and keen interest in Human Resource field
